Founders Christian’s Logos Choir is named with a dual significance–7th through 9th graders in a classical school are in the logic phase (from the Greek, logos), and in music just as much as in any subject it is imperative to think critically about how something works before presenting it to others. Secondly, our highest aim is to use music to magnify Christ, the eternal Word (logos again) of God. Our choir dynamic is an energetic mixture of teamwork, scholarship, musical and spiritual growth (read hard work), and fun. Our students received a rating of Excellent at ACSI’s Large Ensemble Contest this year, they continue to perform at many of our school events, and they look forward to singing in various community venues, representing both our school and our Savior to those around us.
