BIO

Megan Larson has taught in the school setting for 12 years and has recently been able to teach as a choir clinician both at inter-state and national music camps. She has B.A. in liberal arts, is a certified ACSI teacher, a certified Kodaly music educator from New Saint Andrews College.

She loves teaching at Founders Christian School because she believes it is "distinct in its mission, vision, and operation because it is grounded in the ministry of a strongly biblical church. It is a vibrant, like-minded, sacrificially loving, hard-working group of colleagues who come to work each day and spur each other on to glorify God and serve students and families with robust school life. Additionally, a classical Christian model of education is simply the best way of developing students as a whole people. I am grateful my own children can grow up in the school and I can whole-heartedly recommend ours as 'an excellent education from a thoroughly biblical worldview.'"

Her aim this year is to implement Colossians 3:16-17 among her students this year which says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
