Mrs. Larson was born in Lakeland, Florida, later moved all over the States, and has been a resident of the north Houston area ever since she was a teenager. She's been musically engaged since she began playing piano at age 5. She was involved in community children's choirs, playing clarinet in band and singing competitively throughout high school and into college. Mrs. Larson graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She continues to play piano and sing within the context of church ministry. She taught the children's choir at Founders Baptist Church for 10 years and is now in her 2nd year of teaching music at FCS. She enjoys teaching at Founders because she's part of a community of like-minded men and women who continually strive after excellence in their own disciplines. She is also passionate about students receiving a biblical and classical education. She recommends FCS to others because we make use of spiritual, relational, and academic tools to prepare young men and women for their worldly calling as well as their calling for the kingdom of God.
