Megan Larson

Curriculum Director & Music Teacher

Mrs. Larson has been a north Houston resident most of her life, and benefited greatly from an upbringing in which going to school was a joy and making music was an integral part of life. She now has a great passion for curriculum design and excellent classical, Christian instruction, as well as for music instruction--choral, Kodaly, and masterworks--at all levels. Additionally, she is an advanced pianist and soprano vocalist, and it is her great joy to serve Christ and others with those instruments.

She loves what she does because teaching and academic leadership have provided meaningful engagement with her own school-aged children as well as benefit to others outside her home, most particularly to her church family and the surrounding community. She especially loves Founders because we interact with whole students, not just their minds, and we do it from a position of biblical integrity and love for Christ and others that makes a lasting difference in kids’ and families’ lives.

Mrs. Larson is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is pursuing certification in Kodaly music instruction at New Saint Andrews College. She and her family have served and learned at FCS since 2014.
