Tuition

It is our desire to provide an FCS education for the children of any family that desires it, regardless of socioeconomic circumstance. We do not want to see students turned away simply because tuition exceeds a family's ability to pay.

Tuition Shedule

  • K-6th Grade: $9,280
  • 7th-9th Grade: $10, 125
  • 10th-12th Grade: $10,965

The partnership between Founders Christian School and its families includes fulfilling obligations to one another. We cannot provide the desired benefits of an FCS education or serve the needs of our FCS family without tuition revenue. It is important that families understand that committing to FCS and entering into this financial commitment creates a binding agreement necessary for the financial operation of the school.

First Time Applicant Fees

1.Application Fee: $100.00. If the student is not accepted, $50.00 is refundable. A maximum per family of $300.00 is charged.

2.Commitment Fee: Equal to one-half of a family’s total first monthly tuition payment. The fee is non-refundable, due within thirty days after acceptance, and applied to the annual, first semester, or first of twelve (12) monthly tuition payments, as the case may be.

Reenrollment Fees

1.Reenrollment Fee: $ 100.00 if re-enrolled by January 31st, $150.00 after January 31st. If the student is not accepted, $ 50.00 is refundable. A maximum per family of $300.00 is charged.

The first tuition payment for all students is due by August 20th. Families using the 12-month payment plan will have their accounts debited on either the 5th or the 20th of each month in August-July. Families may choose whether they prefer the 5th or the 20th.

Specific Refund Provisions

Understanding that situations arise which may necessitate the withdrawal of a student, while at the same time being mindful of the financial responsibilities of Founders Christian School, certain refund provisions will be made upon the formal withdrawal of a student from FCS. All withdrawals must be present in writing to the school office, and students are still considered enrolled until such notice is received.

1.If a student is withdrawn prior to August 1st, no tuition liability will be assessed for that student other than the non-refundable Commitment Fee.

2.If a student is withdrawn on or after August 1st, and prior to his/her first day of school, the tuition liability will be equivalent to 25% of the annual tuition for that student.

3.If a student is withdrawn on or after his/her first day of school, and prior to the first day of the second semester, the tuition liability will be equivalent to 50% of the annual tuition for that student.

4.If a student is withdrawn at any time during the second semester, the tuition liability will be equivalent to 100% of the annual tuition for that student.

*For families who do not demonstrate a need for tuition assistance, a tuition maximum is applied at each grade level. If a family wishes to contribute beyond the tuition maximum, we encourage them to partner with us to provide the opportunity of an FCS education to additional students.

FCS Tuition Assistance Program

Most people understand education to be a privilege. This is especially true of private education, where schools are not funded by the government, but by generous benefactors and by the families who attend. Unfortunately, many families find it difficult to manage the cost of private education. It is our desire to provide an excellent education for the children of any family that desires it, regardless of socioeconomic circumstance. We do not want to see students turned away simply because tuition exceeds their family’s ability to pay. Yet, there is a fixed cost to education, and a commitment to excellence in our programs requires that the quality of education not be compromised by efforts to maintain reasonably low tuition.

It is our desire to provide an excellent education for the children of any family that desires it, regardless of socioeconomic circumstance.

How Tuition Assistance Works

The Tuition Assistance Program consists of three basic parts:

Financial Assessment – If you wish to enroll your child at Founders Christian School, but feel you are unable to meet the demands of the tuition schedule, a family may apply for tuition assistance after completing the Admissions Application. We partner with a third party organization (FACTS) which provides the school with an objective evaluation of a family’s economic need.

Tuition Assistance Offer – The financial information provided by FACTS is used to make an offer for Tuition Assistance. Applicants will receive a Tuition Offer Letter in the mail.

Tuition Partners – In order to fill the gap between tuition revenue and the actual cost of education, we partner with individuals and businesses who make generous financial contributions to support the mission of Founders Christian School.

If you are interested in partnering with us, please visit our Giving page or call the school office at (281) 602-8006. Someone in our development office would be delighted to help you customize your giving plan.

*For families who do not demonstrate a need for tuition assistance, a tuition maximum is applied at each grade level. If a family wishes to contribute beyond the tuition maximum, we encourage them to partner with us to provide the opportunity of an FCS education to additional students.
